How the Lifetime Polishing Program Works
We want to keep your jewelry looking pristine with zero hassle. If your ring ever loses its mirror finish or accumulates everyday micro-scratches, you can send it back to us for a professional refresh.
- The Service: 100% Free, forever. We will expertly run your piece through our finishing pipeline to restore that signature mirror shine.
- The Shipping: Customers are responsible for covering shipping costs both ways (sending the item to our facility and the return shipping fee).
A Quick Note on Metal Care & Polishing Limits
We treat every piece with the utmost care, but it is important to understand how professional polishing works. Polishing inherently removes a microscopic layer of metal to smooth away surface scratches.
- Preserving Geometry: While we can easily restore a brilliant shine, over-polishing can subtly soften sharp edges, flatten clean geometric lines, or wear down custom name engravings over time. For routine care, we focus strictly on a light final shine to maintain the integrity of your design rather than aggressively grinding down the metal.
- Deep Scratches & Structural Limits: If your ring has deep gouges, heavy impacts, or severe wear, our team will evaluate it when it arrives. While we can buff out many deep blemishes, some may be too severe to remove completely without compromising the structural shape of the ring.
- Our Communication Promise: If we notice that a piece requires heavy intervention that might alter its original geometry or details, we will always reach out via email first to discuss options and confirm you want to proceed before we touch the metal.
Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Send Your Ring In

2.- Package Safely: Securely pack your ring in a small, padded box or bubble mailer to prevent any transit damage. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
3.- Ship to Our Hub: Mail your package to our secure processing and intake location:

1.- The Craftsmanship Turnaround: Once received at our intake hub, our team will inspect, process, and expertly restore your piece within 10 business days.
2.- Shipped Back Home: We will package your freshly refreshed ring and ship it right back to your doorstep, looking its absolute best.
Terms & Guidelines
- What is Covered: Surface scratches, routine dullness, minor oxidation, and general finish restoration.
- What is Not Covered: Severe structural damage, deep gouges that compromise the metal's integrity, missing stone settings (for future stone-set pieces), or severe bending and crushing of the band. If a piece requires heavy repair rather than a standard polish, we will contact you with a repair quote before doing any work.
- Shipping Responsibility: Aurora Artifacts is not responsible for packages lost in transit to our facility. We strongly recommend using tracked and insured shipping when sending your jewelry in.
